Sustainability
Our approach to sustainability is based on the principles of “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle.”
Reduce
Steel and aluminium ensure long-lasting solutions thanks to the inherent durability of these metals.
All our ceiling solutions have a certified minimum lifespan of 50 years. This significantly reduces the need for new products to
be manufactured.
Reuse
Due to the long lifespan and robust surface of metal, our solutions can often be reused after their original purpose has ended.
They can be reused directly by simply being taken down and installed elsewhere, or adapted to new areas as the use of a
space change.
If a different appearance is desired, the products can be recoated in a new colour.
Recycle
With an acoustic solution in steel or aluminium, you choose a solution that supports the circular economy, as both materials
are 100% recyclable.
Recycling the materials significantly reduces the carbon footprint, while retaining all the inherent properties of the metals.
That’s why all DAMPA solutions already contain recycled material and we are continuously working to improve them. As part
of this effort, we have introduced a more sustainable type of aluminium to our range. It consists of 75% post-consumer aluminium, with the remaining 25% primarily made up of recycled material from internal production waste. This further reduces the
carbon footprint of our acoustic solutions.
