Producing metal from recycled materials requires
only around 10% of the resources used in primary
production. At DAMPA, we place strong emphasis
on achieving a high degree of material recycling
and reuse. Compared to aluminium sourced from
regions such as the Far East, the aluminium we use
from European suppliers emits 57% less CO2 per
kg.

One of the solutions we are exploring to further
reduce our carbon footprint is a greener aluminium
composed of 75% post-consumer recycled content. By using aluminium with 75% recycled material, the CO2 footprint can be reduced by an
additional 69%.
