All our ceiling and wall solutions are made from Nordic steel
and aluminium. While the extraction of steel and aluminium
is resource-intensive, these materials offer long-term benefits.
Once produced, metal can be recycled again and again
with relatively little ressources – without losing its mechanical properties. In fact, we use steel and aluminium made
from up to 75% recycled material.
Steel is an exceptionally durable material. Certified life cycle
assessments of our acoustic metal ceilings show a lifespan

of at least 50 years. Thanks to this durability, both the product and its design remain intact – even in high-traffic or
exposed environments. That’s one of the reasons why
DAMPAs acoustic ceilings are still in place in many schools
and educational institutions today.
As a climate-conscious partner, DAMPA also supports your
environmentally certified building project. All our steel and
aluminium ceilings – including our climate ceilings – are
covered by Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
