Utilise the Walls
To achieve optimal acoustics, the general rule of thumb is
that wall-mounted acoustic elements should cover
10-20% of the floor area. However, the interior and use of
the room also play a significant role.
®
With our acoustic panels in steel – DAMPA Silent Board
®
and DAMPA Silent Board Flex – you get acoustic wall
panels in class A. Their simple installation principle makes
them easy to install in both existing spaces and new
builds, while the robust material makes them ideal for
high-traffic or exposed environments.
®
DAMPA Silent Board is also available in an extra-deep
version, which effectively reduces reverberation time in the
lower frequency range. This makes it possible to meet the
requirements of the Danish Building Regulations across all
year groups in primary school.
Reverberation time can therefore be tailored to the room’s
function and the users’ needs, creating the best possible
acoustic environment – whether in corridors, common
areas or classrooms.
The wall panels come in a wide range of finishes and
designs, allowing them to become an active part of the
interior with options to play with dimensions, colours or
prints.
And because the panels are made of steel, they also have
magnetic properties – making them perfect as a classroom noticeboard, without compromising acoustic performance.
