md-19005-en - Flipbook - Side 11
All products included in this declaration are manufactured at the same production site, ensuring
consistency in production processes and energy sourcing. The production processes and raw
material inputs across the product group are of a similar type, in compliance with the requirements
for process and material similarity outlined in Section 2 of Annex I.
A representative product was selected for the development of a baseline LCA model. Based on this
baseline, an assessment of the variability in GWP-fossil (A1-A3) was conducted by adjusting the
key input and output flows to reflect a minimum and maximum case within the group. The variation
in GWP-fossil for the assessed product group was found to remain within the permissible threshold
of ±50%, as required for average EPDs.
All products in this group serve an equivalent purpose and are intended for similar functional use in
ceiling systems. There are no material differences in the functional or performance characteristics
relevant for this context. Differences in size and dimension are within the limits allowed for product
group averaging, and do not affect the comparability of the declared environmental performance
for modules A1-A3.
As per the guidelines in EPD Hub GPI v1.2, only one set of averaged results are presented in this
EPD, covering modules A1-A3. All scenario-based modules (A4-A5, B1-B7, C1-C4, D) are
excluded from the averaging process. Any potential variation in other life-cycle stages is assumed
to be linear to the variation observed in A1-A3 and remains within the ±10% margin required for
representativeness.
LCA Software and Bibliography
The LCA and EPD have been prepared according to the reference standards and ISO
14040/14044. The EPD Generator uses Ecoinvent v3.10.1 and One Click LCA databases as
sources of environmental data. Allocation used in Ecoinvent 3.10.1 environmental data sources
follow the methodology 8allocation, Cut-off, EN 15804+A28.
