Sustainability
In our work with sustainability, we work with a “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle”-approach.
Reduce
Steel and aluminium ensure long-lasting acoustic solutions due to their robust properties.
All our ceiling solutions are certified for a minimum lifespan of 50 years, significantly reducing the need for
new product production.
Reuse
Thanks to their durability and resilient surfaces, our solutions can often be reused after their original
installation.
Products can be repurposed in two ways: Direct reuse, where they are simply removed and reinstalled elsewhere or adaptation, where they are modified to suit a new space or function.
If a visual update is needed, products can be repainted in a new colour. If the acoustic needs change, the
existing insulation can often be replaced or upgraded to achieve a higher acoustic class.
Recycle
An acoustic solution in steel or aluminium supports the circular economy, as both materials are 100% recyclable.
Recycling these materials significantly reduces CO2 emissions, while retaining all their original properties.
That is why all DAMPA solutions already contain recycled material, and we are continuously working to
improve the sustainability. As part of this, we have introduced a new aluminium option made from 75%
post-consumer recycled aluminium, with the remaining 25% primarily sourced from internal production
waste. This further reduces the CO2-footprint of our acoustic solutions.
