In addition to creating room-within-a-room solutions, DAMPA®
Space is developed with a strong focus on aesthetics and
function. The materials have therefore been chosen for their
durability, visual qualities, and practicality.
Space is based on DAMPA’s robust acoustic wall panels,
DAMPA® Silent Board, which are produced in steel. They
come in Acoustic Class A, meaning Space reduces
reverberation time and improves the room’s acoustics – a
crucial factor for well-being and learning in modern educational environments.
The panels are also fire-resistant and meet the requirements
for placement in escape routes, making Space particularly
suitable for flexible workstations in school corridors.
The desk is made of solid FSC®-certified plywood that folds
down safely.
The front, handles, and back panel are available in several
colours, allowing you to play with the visual expression in the
room. You can choose one colour for the handles, another
for the front panels, and a third for the back panel to create
unique combinations. You can see the colour options on the
next page.
The back panel, made with cork, also functions as a pinboard.
