In addition to large projects such as multi-storey office
blocks, educational facilities and factories, Dæmpa ceilings
were installed in much bigger numbers in high street premises, such as banks, shops, bars and restaurants. The earliest banking customer was Fyens Disconto Kasse in Odense,
of which Det Fyenske Trælastkompagni and Elias B. Muus
had been long-standing commercial clients. Shortly after,
Landmandsbanken chose a Dæmpa ceiling for its new
branch in Svendborg. The first hospitality venue to choose
Dæmpa was the Nørreris bar in Randers. Counting the perforations of installed panels shown in accompanying photographs, it is evident that many of those supplied were of
bespoke dimensions, deviating from the advertised standard sizes, but fulfilling the wishes of each building’s architect.
