In actuality, the ceilings produced since 1980 have appeared
in prominent buildings designed by several of the world’s
leading architects and in everyday spaces by less exulted
practitioners. In all instances, they have played important
roles in bringing calm and visual order to the interiors, benefitting employees, visitors and the general public.
In hospitals and schools, DAMPA ceilings assist in creating
peaceful environments to aid patient recovery and children’s
learning while in corporate offices, they help business people focus on their tasks. In universities and research laboratories, they provide ideal conditions for research, enabling
the boundaries of knowledge to be extended and innovation
to occur.
Meanwhile, on the seas and oceans that cover most of the
earth’s surface, ships of many kinds, both merchant and
military, contain DAMPA marine ceilings, which in their navigation bridges allow the officers to concentrate on their
safety-critical tasks and, in cabins, help crew to recuperate.
In the passenger areas of ferries and cruise ships, they form
backdrops for travellers’ and holidaymakers’ relaxation.
