An unusual concurrent project elsewhere in the vicinity of
Copenhagen harbour was an underground parking garage
for the ’Operaen’ in Christianshavn, located beneath a new
public park called ’Operaparken’, which COBE Architects
designed with construction funded by A. P. Møller og Hustru
Chastine Mc-Kinney Møller’s Fond til almene Formaal,
which earlier had paid for the opera house itself.
