DAMPA won a contract to provide 22,000 square metres of
ceilings for the renovation and expansion of the A. P. MøllerMærsk headquarters at Esplanaden in Copenhagen by PLH
Arkitekter. This was the largest project in which DAMPA and
TechoKlima’s innovative type of ‘Climate Ceiling’ was specified, the panels of which contain hydronic cooling inlays
which react to each person’s temperature and transport all
excess heat from their body away to the ceiling, without any
of the disturbing draught caused by conventional cooling
and ventilation systems.
A renovation of Viborg Sygehus also uses DAMPA® Climate
Ceiling as the sole cooling and heating source in the six storeys of patient bedrooms.
