In this period, several significant building projects using
DAMPA ceilings were completed. Viewed from ground level,
the LEGO House at Billund, designed by Bjarke Ingels
Group (BIG), appears as a classic Nordic modernist edifice,
appropriately formed of white blocks of varying dimensions,
but from above, its multiple terrace and roof levels are all
finished in bright LEGO colours – and these also feature
throughout the interiors.
