‘The idea of producing bespoke designs for each customer
was by no means a new one for the company as this had
often been done in the 1950s and 1960s – but it had then been
marginalised and forgotten between the 1970s and the 1990s
when standardisation ruled. But moving Van Geel’s
equipment to Tommerup brought the approach back and that
was a very positive development as the construction market
changed in favour of bespoke solutions for each project.’
Says Mogens Kjærgaard, Head of R&D and Sustainability at DAMPA.
