In 2026, DAMPA celebrates the 75th anniversary of the commencement of acoustic ceiling and wall production. Having
begun in 1951 as a cottage industry, today its factory in
Tommerup near Odense produces beautiful modern ceilings and wall elements for a global market that includes
major customers in building design and construction ashore
and also the leading names in the passenger shipping and
shipbuilding industries.
The simplicity of its first ceiling panels reflected a context of
post-war austerity – but the subsequent development of
DAMPA is a story of the increasing application of leading-edge technology and innovation.
The company’s current-day range is state-of-the-art and
also compliant with all relevant international quality and performance standards. Nowadays, DAMPA is a global company with agents around the world supplying its products.
